the façades

the façades are a four-piece indie pop-punk band out of Macomb, IL. Formed from a talent show in their senior year of high school, four friends have been playing shows across the Midwest and having a great time while doing it. Guitarist and lead vocalist Roman Hamm, bassist Chris Schmidt, keyboardist and back-up vocalist Isabel Sperry, and drummer Ally Merrett have been writing songs to let people know that they’re alive.

Their first album, entitled “it’s hard to write a happy song,” was independently released in 2019 with the help of producer Kole Shuda.

the façades made a subsequent release, a single entitled, “not alright.” in 2021 with much more music to come. Stay posted here!

Along with the instrumental, lyrical, and melodic portions of the album, I also helped with the graphic design.
