College-wide Survey

We sent out a preliminary survey to the entire College of Education and Human Services to understand current feelings, tensions, and motivations about reorganization. Below is the summary.

14 Initial Organizations

We had a conversation about the strengths and weaknesses of each organization as well, specifically focusing on merging departments.

7 Final Organizations

Upon further testing, we decreased the initial amount of 14 organizations to 8 so that representatives could work in pairs.

Data Analysis

I analyzed each organization in terms of where it was in the college, what schools it was merged with, and where each degree program was housed.

Strengths, Weaknesses, and Final Results

Tallying the scores, we did a final discussion of strengths and weaknesses. We also received quantitative data by having each participant rank the organizations. The final results were organizations 3, 9, 7, and 11
